The point of the requirement lists is to get the knowledge to as many students as possible in as clear a manner as possible. You can use it to review skills you already know, to remind yourself of the names of techniques and to catalog those things you have not yet learned. If you have questions about the hows, whys or whats of a technique that are not answered on the requirement sheet itself, ask a senior student to help you. If they don't know, they'll ask someone senior to them. The question may go all the way up the ranks to your teacher. Great! It means more people get a chance to learn. That one question may even change the way the requirement gets described or taught to people in the future, again with the idea of clear communication so we can get to training and avoid confusion.
